We would try our best to assign your preferred car, however all our vehicles are subjected to availability. If on the day of your hire, the requested car is not available, we would provide you with similar car.
Yes, one additional driver is allowed to drive the car. The additional driver must fulfill the basic requirements for the car rental and must register with Keng Soon Auto before he or she is allowed to drive the car. Otherwise he or she, is not covered by the insurance.
Yes, delivery or collection services are available during office hours. Upon request, there is a charge of S$25 for one way journey. Rentals of a minimum of one week will have the benefit of free delivery and collection.
We accept both Visa and MasterCard for short-term rental. The preferred payment method for long-term lease is cash or cash cheque.
Rates include insurance, road-tax, maintenance and unlimited mileage for local use. All rates are subject to 7% GST.
To extend the rental period, the hirer must call and/or email to inform Keng Soon Auto at +65 6337 7533.
Yes, the hirer has to refuel the petrol to its original level with superior grade unleaded petroleum or higher; failing which the hirer shall pay the refuelling cost and a service fee of $10.70 (+ GST).
Only petrol grade 95 or a higher grade (equivalent to grade 5000 and above) is allowed to be pumped in our vehicles.
The hirer is liable for all parking and traffic fines and / or offences that he or she incurs.
We would require a holding amount of S$1,000 on your credit card. This hold amount would not be charged to your credit card during the rental period and would be released after return of vehicle. The amount charged to your credit card would be your rental amount, inclusive of other applicable charges.
Our extensive maintenance and servicing for long-term leasing includes replacing window wipers, tire pressure, battery, engine oil and other mechanical related problems highlighted by user.
During term of your lease, we will schedule car servicing and inspection every 9 months and/or depending on current car mileage.
We have a 24-hrs Breakdown Service and you may reach us at +65 6336 6643. Our friendly customer service representative will attend to your needs.
A service fee of S$50.00 (subject to prevailing government taxes) will be applicable for each and every breakdown that should arise due to the Hirer's negligence or wilful act or omission (e.g. punctured tyres, keys locked in cars and etc). Kindly note that this service fee will be levied on top of any other additional charges that may apply.
The hirer must report all accidents to Keng Soon Auto immediately. Hirer shall not admit liability.
Yes. If you are residing in Singapore for less than 12 months, you are not required to convert your driving license to a Singapore driving license. You may drive in Singapore with a valid driving permit issued by a foreign Automobile Association.
If your foreign driving license is not in English language:
You may obtain translation from the relevant Embassy, High Commission, the Singapore Subordinate Court or the Singapore High Court. Translation is not required for license issued by Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia.
To drive a vehicle in Singapore, you must possess a valid Singapore driving license. This includes foreigners who are residing in Singapore for more than 12 months.
